What do the following have in common: handicraft design, lo-tech animation design, exhibition design, eco-effective design, lifestream design, experience design. Design? Yes. But what else? I am working on our group MFA catalog statement & don’t know how to begin. Which is why I am here.

Is it about technology? Is it about extreme specialization? Are the different practices stops along a journey?

Make something by hand and animate it. Design the experience & make it Eco-effective. Display it for an audience & document it with lifestreaming.

Then decide what to make next.
