Journaling to manage stress

My lifestream site is nearing completion. I need to clean up the sidebar (cats & add services list), fix some post subcategories (hygienes), add a Twitter widget & sex up the theme (type styling!), but it’s pretty much functioning the way I want it to. Jessicamullen.com…

Right now our kitchen is a horrific mess from making salsa & a quadruple pizza dough batch last night. Were getting ready for a trip to Florida & hoping to leave under the cover of darkness tonight… But there is so much to do first. That is why I come to you, LJ, to make my lists.

To do before leaving:
Drop off key to joy
Clean kitchen
Finish cleaning office
Pack
Make truffles
Go for run
Cook road food
Financial hygiene

Return emails (not going to happen)
Prepare kitties
Call Grandma while driving!
Change air filter
litter
put food in cooler

That seems doable… Right? Were bringing so much of our kitchen appliances & tools & condiments & spices so we can have an easy time eatin vegan. We’ve planned out our meals. We spend sooo much time cooking. That is the hardest part of this no corn syrup, no animal products diet. Yes, I see it lasting the rest of my life. But we’ve got to figure out more cooking shortcuts.

My laptop is dead so we won’t have much computer access, but the iPhone sure does a good job standing in it’s place. Just wish I had a bluetooth keyboard & maybe an external screen.

Anyway now the decision must be made: go back to sleep (at 11a), or get up & tackle this list? I suppose the latter.

Livejournal: thinking aloud, publicly. What will our grandchildren think?

I just woke from a dream where I was first hanging out with Gary Vee, then being hit on by girls chilling on our trampoline.
