Welcome to Tuesday Tips, a weekly selection of epiphanies and good-feeling thoughts that help me keep a positive outlook on life. This week I’m focusing the tips on welcoming love and abundance into our lives. I know your life is already awesome, so let’s explore some ways to amplify and expand all the things that are already working.
1. Subscribe to the Abe list Yahoo group.
If you’re as into Abraham-Hicks as I am, check this group out! Every day, I receive a digest of messages from people all around the world putting Abe’s teachings into practice. It’s uplifting and inspiring to see how many other people there are practicing positivity!
2. Read Kelly’s site for a million nuggets of truth.
My wife Kelly’s thought-direction practice is unique and poetic. Every line is a morsel of knowing. When I read her site, I remember what I know. She reminds me to set intentions for the next day. Her words are a set of instructions that help me decide what I want for my reality as I see how she is creating hers.
3. Keep up the good work!
You’re always doing your best, and so is everyone around you. You’re in the right place, at the right time, and you’re doing everything right. It couldn’t happen any other way. Look how far you’ve come! Keep doing what you’re doing, because you’re doing so great!
4. Joyfully embrace change.
If it’s the only constant, why not learn to love it? Embracing change is the same thing as letting go.
5. Keep your story straight.
You can have whatever you want in life if you practice the thoughts you would think if you had what you wanted. Decide how you would think if you had what you wanted, and then stick to those thoughts. Want money? Decide to think abundant thoughts and stick to them. You won’t see instant manifestation. You just have to keep up with it until you believe the story, and then you’ll be living your story.
5. Try this mantra: “Abundance flows easily through me.”
When you stop resisting, life starts cooperating. All you have to do to receive everything you desire is let go and let life live you. Our minds try to convince us that it’s hard to stop thinking and trust life, but only because the mind is afraid of losing power. Other variations of this mantra are “Well being flows easily through me” and “Life flows easily through me.”
6. Pressure creates results.
A lesson from Body Pump class this week: if you didn’t feel pressure, you wouldn’t try. If you want specific results, put yourself in a position that challenges you. If it didn’t challenge you, you wouldn’t change!
7. Know that it’s within your power to smile and feel good no matter what.
You can change how you feel as easily as a thermostat on the wall. It just takes practice finding the thermostat, and then figuring out the little knobs and dials.
8. Be your reason for feeling good, and understand why.
When you decide to be your reason for feeling good, instead of looking to something outside of you (drugs, food, friendship, sex, etc.), you have complete control over how you feel. If you let external, temporary things be your reason for feeling good, they’ll also be your reason for feeling bad when they’re gone. Why you can be your reason for feeling good is because you are all that is. Thinking there is anything outside of you in the first place is just an illusion. You’re it. You’re the one. So you either feel good because you’re you, or you’ll never find a true reason to feel good.
9. Going through some contrast?
We all experience contrast (things we don’t want). It’s the only way to know what we do want. To feel relief from contrast, count in your head. You only have to stop thinking for a few seconds before you’ll attract a better-feeling thought. When you stop thought, you allow the natural flow of well being through you. Your mood will instantly rise, and you’ll have access to a whole new level of thought. You don’t have to “figure it out” to feel better. You only have to allow the flow of life through you. And you can do that by stopping thought with silent counting. Artists like Roman Opalka do it too! (Thanks Jen!)
10. Try this mantra again: “I’ve decided to feel good about that.”
I wrote about how this mantra manifested me over $10,000. When the contrast in your life becomes so great that you don’t know what to do, just let it go by saying “I’ve decided to feel good about that.” How you feel is a choice, and you can choose to feel good or bad. Decide to feel good about the things that worry you, and they’ll work themselves out.
11. Put the same “oomph” into every moment.
If you want every moment of your life to be good, then you have to go into each moment with the same excitement. Often, we find one area of life that feels really good, and then we feel longing for that area when we don’t have it. This applies to relationships, places, or activities. Put the same enthusiasm into all your relationships, destinations and activities and they will reward you as much as the ones you already have emotional attachment to.
12. Give love to yourself by loving others.
For when you love another, it is not their attributes that are calling to your soul, but a reminder of your own. When you look at each other and are deeply moved, it is because at a fundamental level you understand that there you behold the sacred. It is you that has stirred your own soul. ~ Sophia Love, in the Fierce Power of Agape
13. Enjoy being.
If you can enjoy just being alive, without any condition changing, then you have achieved the purpose of life! I’ve written about how I learned to enjoy being, and since then I’ve learned a lot about what happens after. When you enjoy being, suddenly all sorts of manifestations come your way that are amazing and feel great. Watch out though – because it’s easy to start mistaking those manifestations for the reason you feel good. Then one day, you don’t feel as good even though you have all these things you wanted. It’s just that you started using things outside of you to feel good instead of letting “being” be your reason for feel good. Just go back to enjoying being, and the manifestations will flow again.
14. Know you are an eternal being, so there is no rush.
The beasts that came before you, who banged around on this planet, denoted at cellular conscious and unconscious levels, their preferences. And that is how the atmosphere was prepared for you. They did not write one thing on their “things to do today” pads. They just be’d and perceived and concluded and asked vibrationally. And the Universe expanded as a result of their willingness to have exposure to the contrast. And you are not different from them. You have no greater responsibility than they did. The contrast produces the desire within you, and the Universe expands as a result of it. The only question is, the question that we want so much to answer is, are you letting it in? Are you letting yourself experience the benefit of your precious focus and your vast experience in the here and now? You’ll never get it done. You cannot get it wrong. So don’t you think it’s time for you to lighten up and start having more fun with all of this, and accept that you are Eternal Beings? And since you are Eternal Beings, then there’s no point in rushing, because there’s never going to be a time when you don’t exist. ~ Abraham, from the daily email quote.
Ready to practice your magick? Homework due Friday!
Per Emily’s suggestion in the School of Life Design Facebook group, this week we’re having homework! This is homework you’ll love to do, because it will give you an opportunity to practice becoming an even more powerful creator than you are today.
All you have to do is pick one tip to focus on and apply to your daily life. Then on Friday, we’ll have a post in the SoLD group where everyone can share their results and experiences. You can also leave a comment on this post. Which tip resonates with you most? Choose one to take your positivity practice to the next level and see what awesomeness unfolds!
