Welcome to Tuesday Tips, a weekly collection of positive thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you change your reality, so let’s pick some out we like! And if you like the images this week, you can click them to purchase a print from DeviantArt.

Doing

1. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Art by Kelly Cree
Nothing in life is worth worrying about. Worrying is just wishing for what you don’t want. (Thanks for this one, Kristy!)

Thinking

2. Spin it the way you want it to be.
Art by Kelly Cree
It’s just like the news. You are the writer of your life and you are free to say it is the way you want it to be. So what if it doesn’t match your current “reality”? You can’t change reality until you change your story.

3. Compliment yourself.
Art by Kelly Cree
Twitter’s hilarious MixedGirlBarbie inspired this one. When you compliment yourself, you attract compliments from others.

4. Keep your good memories and toss the rest.
Art by Kelly Cree
Because everything exists all at once, you have the same ability to change the past as you do the future.

Feeling

5. Open up a can of “I don’t give a fuck.”
Art by Jessica Mullen
You will never change the universal law that when you care about something and perceive it as missing, it’s missing. Just don’t think about it! You’ll never think your way to a solution. You’ll never “figure it out”. Let it go!

Again and again I therefore admonish my students in Europe and America: Don’t aim at success—the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one’s personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success: you have to let it happen by not caring about it. I want you to listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the long-run–in the long-run, I say!–success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think about it. ~Viktor Frankl

Being

6. Be patient.
Art by Jessica Mullen
What you want was created when you had the desire. Trust it’s coming your way. Know it is. If you knew something was taken care of and guaranteed to come, you wouldn’t worry about it would you?

7. Be you.
Art by Jessica Mullen
When you think about others or about what they think, you’re BEING them. Let your thoughts go and be fully immersed in the moment to see who you truly are.

8. Trust you’re on the right path.
Art by Jessica Mullen
Look back at your life. Everything lined up perfectly to put you where you are now. Trust that what is happening now is the perfect stepping stone on your path. It will make sense when you look back. All you have to do now is enjoy it.
