Tuesday Tips: 6 Ways to NGAF

Welcome to Tuesday Tips, my weekly collection of good-feeling thoughts. I am back from vacation and ready to tear it up! For those of you counting, I made it a solid 14 days into my "rehab" before having a drink (or three) last night. Tragic, or magick? Either way, I can't be bothered to care. Sobriety feels amazing, but arbitrary self-deprivation does not. I will let the flow tell me when to drink from now on.

Onward! Usually I collect my tips throughout the week, snagging a morsel here and there. It drives Kelly crazy when I get up right as we're falling asleep and say, "I have to write something down!" The past two weeks I've made zero notes, instead opting to "channel" the tips below when inspiration struck.

I've found that if I trust myself, the words come naturally when I need them. So here's to no more note-taking—three cheers to the flow!

1. Shut up and let the flow do the talking.
You don't have to plan anything. You can channel all the answers in the moment that you need them. If you can stop worrying and thinking long enough to let the flow speak through you, you'll find all the answers within. Try it with stream of consciousness writing, or record yourself speaking on video. These tips were channeled and I think they're just swell.

2. Let go. Let go. Let go.
Whatever you're resisting, go with it. If someone is bugging you to do something, say yes. Anything that keeps popping up that you keep resisting, you're going to have to flow with it eventually. Be like water and go with the flow. It's so much less stressful.

For example, we owe someone a chunk of change for various vacation-related expenses. Kelly keeps trying to get me to pay a larger amount than I want to, and I get so pissed when she tries to convince me. Finally I agreed, deciding that letting go feels better than fighting over money. I suppose this is me learning to be less greedy and selfish.

3. Quiet on the set.
According to the book Die to Live, the point of meditation is to eventually get to a stage (pun intended) where you feel like you're watching yourself as you would watch an actress in a movie. You are separate from your ego and your daily routine, and instead you are the observer who sees and knows the big picture of the film. You aren't afraid for the characters, only interested in how things will play out. And in this movie, there's always a happy ending.

4. Smile!
I feel the best when I'm being silly. Feeling silly is the best feeling. This Rumi quote inspires me to feel that way more and more:

Forget safety. Live where you fear to live. Be notorious! Destroy your reputation. You have tried prudent planning for long enough. From now on be mad!

5. Fuck it.
Have sex. Drink a drink. Don't worry about one thing, because the universe is taking care of all your problems today. Wayne Dyer told me so:

Your help, so have
A miraculous day.

6. Watch my daily meditations.
Recording these makes me feel so much better that I had to make one on my off day too. Enjoy!

Trust the flow. Trust that you're in the right place at the right time. Trust that the words will come to you. Trust that the actions will come to you. Trust that when you need it, it will be there.

It's all right in front of you. You can see it in the moment. Whatever you need right now, it's right there in front of you. It's right in front of you. It's already in your mind. You know at every moment what you need, what to do, what to think.

Breathe in and trust.
Breathe out and relax.

Empty your mind and you'll find the answers there.

Breathe in and let it come to you!
Breathe out and trust that god will solve your problems today.

You don't have to lift a finger. All you have to do is enjoy this day. That's the only thing on your to do list. If you take the time to enjoy your day, you'll be inspired to the actions you need to take. It's all coming. Quiet your mind, and you'll hear the answers.

Breathe in and smile!
Breathe out and have confidence that the strength that you want is already there.

Trust. Let it come to you. The answers are already there.

Breathe in and let the flow through you.
Breathe out and center yourself.

You're already there. You're already there. You're already there.

Breathe in and trust this is the right place at the right time.
Breathe out and congratulate yourself. You've come so far!

Everything you want, you already have. You can let go of it all now. You can let go. You can trust the flow.

Breathe out and feel relief. It doesn't matter! You can stop caring now!

Just be here and enjoy the trip. It's all here for you. It's all coming to you. It's all coming through you.

Breathe out and know it's all working out for you.

Whatever you need will be there when you need it. Whatever you want, you already have. God's taking care of everything today. Just sit back, relax and enjoy it!

Release your resistance. Release your resistance. Whatever you're fighting against, just stop. Just let it go. Stop thinking about it. If your reality is telling you to do something, just go with it. Just say yes. Don't fight.

Breathe in and trust the path of least resistance.
Breathe out and stop worrying about time.

Just stop resisting. The flow will take you. The flow will show you where to go. You don't have to do anything. Your reality is telling you right now what to do.

Breathe in and know that whatever is easiest is the right way.
Breathe out and let your guilt go.

Just because you've decided to make your life easier by trusting the flow doesn't mean you have to feel guilty. You don't have to feel guilty for making your own life easier. You don't have to feel guilty for having an easier life than other people. You're the conscious one. You're the magick one. You're the one who has gone through so much contrast to get to this point. You deserve it.

Breathe in and know you deserve an easy life.
Breathe out and know you deserve a good life.

You do deserve this. You do deserve life being good to you. You deserve to be treated well. You deserve to be loved. You deserve to be at ease. You deserve to be at peace.

Breathe in and trust. It's working!

The work you do every day is in your mind. The work you do to help yourself helps your entire reality. It's ok to help yourself. It's ok to be nice to yourself. It's ok to relax and go with the flow. It's ok to let life take care of you. It's ok to know that you deserve better, and that better is coming your way.

Be like water. Let the flow carry you. The flow knows the best path. You don't know what the best path is, you can't use your logic to decide. You can only follow what feels best. And the path of least resistance is always what feels best.

Breathe out and release your resistance to what's happening.

Release your resistance. It's all coming. Let go and release your resistance. You don't have to fight. You don't have to care. And you certainly don't have to try. It's meant to be easy.

Just by being here in this physical reality, you are giving us all the greatest gift. You deserve a good life! And you deserve for it to come to you.

Relief
