Thank you for this pen, thank you for the paper. Shift yourself into this attitude of gratitude: thank you, thank you, thank you. That puts you into receiving mode. That enables you to receive more and attract more to be grateful for and attract all the things you want.

Your expectations are just made up of your beliefs and your beliefs are just thoughts you think a lot. So what if today, you love yourself and you say yes and you say thank you and you feel and then you see and you do you and you believe in miracles?!

Thinking “I Love Myself” Really Works

Today I woke up with cramps and a headache, and it felt like my cold was coming back for a reprise. "But yesterday had been such a good day!" I thought.

I went and chugged my coffee, fed my cats, and reminded myself to start counting. Yesterday I made it a point to do silent counting as my simran and it worked like a charm. I got so much done and went to bed feeling fabulous.

I don't think I even got to 200 today. I took my cold medicine, the wife gave me a neckrub, and I did a quick job for an awesome new client. Right after I finished, she paid right away and then gave me a sweet testimonial on Facebook.

I looked in my inbox and saw all these payments from clients and book sales and digital downloads. I looked in my inbox and saw the email from a client yesterday, saying, "Thank you so much, this is exactly what I want." I've never had a client say that to me before.

I scrolled through my Facebook profile and saw all the people tagging me, thanking me and saying they miss me and appreciate me. And it hit me. I LOVE MYSELF. And now I had the evidence. People were giving me attention. And when I looked at my facebook profile, I felt real, true LOVE for myself. I felt like a good person, doing good things. Guys, I did it. I LOVE myself. Holy. Shit.

I've been practicing thinking "I love myself" with about 87% devotion for about six weeks. Being sober really helps me keep the thought going, since I'm not blacked out every night, having to start at 0 again the next day.

I record meditations about it. I write it in my journal. I write it in my blog. I wish for it in my MMM. I printed it on a sweatshirt. I co-create zines about it. I love myself. I love myself. Breathing in, I love myself. I email people about it. My best email penpal and I talk about the magick power of "I love myself" for days on end. Breathing out I love myself.

It's working. The mantra is working. Even though I didn't believe the thought at first, it's starting to stick. Just because I kept thinking it over and over. Kept putting my attention on it, even when it seemed like it wasn't working.

It's working. I love myself. I just had to stick to it. Believe in it. Believe that all this law of attraction / thoughts-creating-reality stuff is TRUE.

It's working. I love myself. I love myself. I love myself. I loved myself before I had proof. And now I love myself, and the proof is revealing itself right in front of my eyes, in every aspect of my life. I didn't have to force anything. All I had to do was deliberately choose to focus on the thought as often as I possibly could.

It's working. I love myself!

Wouldn't it be nice to have the best day of my life? Wouldn't it be nice to enjoy every moment of the day? Wouldn't it be nice to relax and let go? Wouldn't it be nice to count to 10000? Wouldn't it be nice to surrender my preferences? Wouldn't it be nice to play outside? Wouldn't it be nice to slack in the backyard? Wouldn't it be nice to have trees to slack and trapeze from? Wouldn't it be nice to feel better and better as the day goes on? Wouldn't it be nice to record my best video yet?

Wouldn't it be nice to improve my site? Wouldn't it be nice to fix that category thing? Wouldn't it be nice if all my sites and computers backed up themselves? Wouldn't it be nice if a consumer quantuum computer was invented this year? Wouldn't it be nice to have huge advancements in VR? Wouldn't it be nice to receive positive attention? Wouldn't it be nice to receive a windfall? Wouldn't it be nice to be inspired to renew my passport? Wouldn't it be nice to know my taxes were perfect? Wouldn't it be nice to relax and trust the process of life? Wouldn't it be nice if that os installed itself? Wouldn't it be nice to run my best run yet? Wouldn't it be nice to swim? Wouldn't it be nice to go to space? Wouldn't it be nice to flow?

I've noticed I have cramps and that's ok. I've noticed I feel a little overwhelmed and that's ok. I've noticed I am craving motivation and inspiration and that's ok. I've noticed I am in pain and that's ok! I've noticed I want MORE MORE MORE and that's ok. I've noticed I don't quite feel like I'm doing enough and that's ok!

I've decided to feel good about these dam ass cramps. They're working themselves out. I've decided to feel good about how I'm spending my time. It's working itself out. I've decided to feel good about money. It's working itself out. I've decided to feel good about that computer. It's working itself out. I've decided to feel good about my to do list. It's working itself out!

What do I want?
Inspiration/motivation to finish my projects:
installing that OS
designing that new zine
renew my passport

drive to run that full 3 miles
discipline to count to 10000
attention
windfall
good news

I intend to have the best day of my life. I intend to feel the best I've ever felt! I intend to be light. I intend to follow through. I intend to love myself and not give a fuck. I intend to make my best work. I intend to allow well being to flow. I intend to count. I intend to play. I intend to flow. I intend to be fun! I intend to bask and love and uplift and inspire. I intend to let life live me. I intend to step away from my thoughts. I intend to appreciate myself and my life. I intend to enjoy the things I do while I'm doing them. I intend to expect miracles! It is already done! I intend to remember my mood is my work.

I pray to stay sober today. I pray to be light. I pray to spread love. I pray to uplift and inspire. I pray to give and share. I pray to feel compassion and understanding.

I'm switching to the version of reality I prefer. In the reality I prefer, I am in the right place at the right time. I am doing everything right. Life loves me. I am inspired and motivated and driven and present! I am one with life. I am letting go of my worries. I am so excited to be me! I am making my best work. I am excited to be alive. I am surrendering my preference. I am allowing well being to flow.

In the reality I prefer, my cramps are gone! I am at peace with what is. I feel the best I've ever felt. I'm making my best work. I am in the flow. I am letting go of my resistance. I am free!

In the reality I prefer, I am taking care of myself. I love myself. I don't give a fuck! I expect miracles! I am letting go of my worries. I am surrendering. I am free to relax and be myself. I am at peace with what is! I am counting!

I love it when I write first thing. I love it when I feel inspired. I love it when I am in the flow. I love it when I feel loved and appreciated. I love it when I let go. I love it when life feels good. I love it when I do the work. I love it when I feel connected. I love it when I love myself. I love it when I don't give a fuck!

Dear Jessica,
Breathe. Deep breaths. Remember all that matters is right now. This moment. You can let the flow through you right here, right now. Not later. Not there. Here.

Relax and breathe. Let life be easy today. Relax and breathe. This is the right place and the right time. You are already enough. You have already DONE enough. Your work is to enjoy, to have fun, to feel good. Let go of your to do list and focus on how good you feel RIGHT NOW.
