Stop Doing the Avoid Dance (transcript)
Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Welcome back to the present moment where all of your power lies.

Breathe in and slow down.
Breathe out and relax into this moment.

Remember that everything you want, you want because you want god. You want love. And you can get there right now. You don’t need anything in your life to change. You don’t need anyone to do anything differently. You don’t need more money or more health. You can become one with love and god right now.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes I am.

Trust this question, this holy question. Trust that by noticing or recognizing your innate awareness, you will merge with love. You will merge with all that is because everything is made up of pure awareness, including you.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes I am.

Keep asking and asking and asking, keep doing the inquiry until you see through the illusion of your thoughts. Your thoughts are convincing you that you need something to change in order to feel better or be happy.

Breathe in and see nothing has to change.
Breathe out and smile because nothing has to change for you to be satisfied and fulfilled in this physical reality.

It’s a recognition, you’re already doing it. It’s just the clouds of thought that are preventing you from seeing.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes I am.

Sometimes it helps to acknowledge the clouds of thought that are mucking up your day. Yes I’m in pain, yes I’m irritable, yes I wish people would act differently, yes I’m anticipating arguments, yes I am annoyed, yes I am dreading things, yes I am seeking, yes I am looking for a chemical feeling instead of doing the work, yes I’m feeling lazy, yes I’m so annoyed with myself and the world, yes I’m tired of being the fucking source, yes I’m tired, yes I’m tired of trying too hard, yes I’m tired of looking for satisfaction in the world. Yes, I’m tired of waiting to be valued. Yes, I’m tired of waiting for attention. Yes, I’m tired of waiting, yes, I’m tired of waiting, yes, I’m tired of waiting.

Breathe in and acknowledge where you are.
Breathe out and welcome where you are.

Yes, I’m tired of waiting. Yes, I’m disappointed in myself for looking to another wave when I’m the source of the waves. Yes, I’m so disappointed in myself. Yes, I want to take the easy way out. Yes, I want to give up. Yes, I just want to feel better. Yes, I’m tired of pleasing other motherfucking people.
Yes, I’m tired of trying to please all day, every day, when I don’t even know how to please myself.

Breathe in and acknowledge where you are.
Breathe out and feel better already.

When you acknowledge what’s going on, those thoughts lose their power and you see they’re just passing objects in awareness. You don’t have to resist them. You can let them go.

Breathe in and ask, “Am I aware?”
Breathe out and notice, “Yes, I am.”

Let the emotions pass. Let the thoughts pass by acknowledging them, by facing them. Face whatever it is that’s bothering you. It’s not as bad as it seems when you’re resisting it. It’s not as bad as it seems when you’re avoiding it.

Breathe in and stop doing the avoid dance.
Breathe out and just let yourself be.

Let the thoughts pass. Let yourself just exist. You don’t have to try. You don’t have to please. You don’t have to change. Just exist and you’re already doing it.

Breathing in, “Am I aware?”
Breathing out, “Yes, I am aware and I am now in the flow.”
