Thinking Is Torture (transcript)

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and let the flow through you.
Breathe out and smile because life is not serious.

Everything is perfect and in its place, it’s all working out for you.

Breathe in and trust you’re in the right place at the right time.
Breathe out and surrender your thoughts, surrender your judgments, surrender your worries, let it all go.

Breathe in and ask yourself, “Am I aware?”
Breathe out and look for the answer. “Am I aware?” Yes, I am aware.

Breathe in and be aware that you are aware.
Breathe out and just rest in your sense of being.

When you ask yourself, “Am I aware?” You feel your attention turn around to look at itself. And for a moment you can feel what it’s like to just simply exist without your thoughts torturing you.

Breathe in and simply exist.
Breathe out and get some space from those thoughts.

Am I aware? Yes, I am. And when you catch that feeling, that knowing, that recognition, that yes, I am aware—when you feel your attention turn around and rest on its source—see how long you can stay there. See how long you can rest without your thoughts pulling you out of the now.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

Repeat the letter I over and over to cement this feeling, to really rest in your sense of being. I, I, I.

Where is that I coming from? Where does the I thought come from? Watch it arise.

Breathing in, I, I.
Breathing out, I, I.

Watch where it comes from in your consciousness. Is it coming from inside your brain, in your body, in your imagination? Where is the “I” thought coming from? Wherever it is that it’s coming from, that point is your connection to the universe, to god, to the infinite.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am. I. I.

Feel your attention rest in this moment in the place where you already are. Feel how you’re already doing it. There’s nothing complicated. It’s already happening. Only your thoughts make it complex. Only your thoughts pull you away from your presence.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am.

And when I am aware, I have no problems. When my attention is resting on its source, I have no problems because I’m not focused on lack. My mind isn’t agitated. And I’m resting as the thing we all have in common, pure awareness. And so I’m not separate from anyone that I love. I am one with everything before the thoughts come and separate.

Breathe in and feel your thoughts lose their power today.
Breathe out and just exist.

That’s all you have to do. It’s your only to-do list item. Exist, you’re already doing it.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

I am aware that I am aware. My attention is resting on its source in this moment. I, I, I am resting in my sense of being. I, I.

Breathe in and let it be simple.
Breathe out and trust it’s safe to drop your thoughts.

Let life figure out your problems for you. Just rest in your sense of being. Rest in the knowing that you exist and life will clean up all the messes.

Breathing out, yes, I am.

I, I, I, I am now aware and I am now in the flow.

Notice It All Unconditionally (transcript)
Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and say yes to what is.
Breathe out and welcome what is.

Yes, I feel a little unstable. Yes, I feel like I am having to work to keep my good mood. Yes, I’m feeling tense. Yes, I’m feeling anxious. Yes, I just want to get everything done at the same time. Yes, I just want to finish.

Breathe in and keep welcoming what is.
Breathe out and keep saying yes to what is.

Yes, I’m slowing down. Yes, I’m letting go of the thoughts. Yes, I’m surrendering into this moment. Yes, I’m remembering who I am.

Breathe in and ask, am I aware?
Breathe out and look for that answer. Yes, I am aware.

Breathe in and notice the thoughts that still come.
Breathe out and notice how you’re the one who sees those thoughts who come.

You are the pure awareness, watching it all, noticing it all unconditionally.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

And when I am aware of being aware, I have no problems because my mind isn’t agitated, so I feel peace. I’m not seeking for something to change. So I don’t feel lack, I feel abundant. And I’m not separate from anything or anyone. When I am aware that I am aware, I am identified as awareness itself, the thing that makes up everything, the universal substance. And when I know that I am awareness, that I am aware of being aware, then I have no separation from those I love, we’re all one. Love.

Breathe in and be in love today.
Breathe out and let the love come to you.

It’s only your thoughts keeping the things away from you. It’s only your thoughts that make you feel bad, that make you feel anxious and like, you have to get things done and like things aren’t perfect the way they are. But your mind is just a series of thoughts. It’s not an entity. It’s not the boss of you. It’s not this secret hidden thing that’s hard to find. It’s just thoughts as they’re arising. It’s not a creature. It’s not an entity. It’s not some standalone thing. When you stop thinking, there’s no more mind.

Breathe in and be free from the thoughts today.
Breathe out and just let them go.

They’re not true. You don’t have to believe them. You can just rest as you are, aware that you are aware, stable, happy, at peace, in love, if you can just be brave enough to let the thoughts go.

Breathe in and ask yourself, am I aware?
Breathe out and notice your mind, your attention, turn around to look at itself, to look at its source.

Am I aware? It sucks right back into itself, resting on its source. It pulls your attention right back into this moment, the only thing that’s real.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

And then you just stay there. And every time you notice you’re distracted or suffering or seeking, just ask yourself again, am I aware? And feel your attention let go of the thoughts, stop attending to the thoughts and come right back to rest on its source. Love, god, pure positive energy.

Breathe in and rest your attention on god.
Breathe out and become one with god.

Then you know everything is going to flow for you. Everything is perfect and in its place. It’s all unfolding perfectly. And everything you want is right in front of you. Just get out of the way.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

Feel your attention do that thing, the no action, the no thought thing of recognizing yes I am aware, I’m here in this moment. Let the thoughts drop. Notice that your discomfort comes from the thinking. Your discomfort comes from your attention, seeking, resisting, running itself over uncomfortable, untrue thoughts, but you can just ask yourself, “Am I aware?” Genuinely look, feel your attention relax onto its source of god, and then you see life already is the way you want it to be.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes.

I am aware and I am now in the flow.

Practice the Presence of God (transcript)
Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Your power is right here, right now, in the moment that the thought crosses your mind. The power is now, it’s right here.

Breathe in and ask, am I aware?
Breathe out and answer, yes, I am aware.

Feel your attention do the no thought thing of turning around to look at itself right now. Am I aware?

Breathe in and look, am I aware?
Breathe out and feel the answer.

Notice the answer, recognize the answer. Yes, I am aware. Yes, I am aware. I see what’s in front of me I hear what’s around me. I feel, I taste, I smell. Yes, I am here, I exist, I am aware that I am aware.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

This is all you have to do in the moment of contrast. In the moment that you start to get that feeling of “something’s going wrong.” Ask yourself, am I aware? And drop the thoughts. Let your attention turn around, rest on itself. Be brave enough to drop those thoughts and just relax into the knowing. Yes, I am aware that I am aware.

Breathe in and rest in the knowing that you are aware.
Breathe out and just stay there, stay here.

You’re already doing it. You can’t stop being aware. It’s the one consistent thing. It’s who you really are, pure awareness. But you are in this human experience and you have a mind with thoughts. You think. You separate yourself. You create problems.

Breathe in and embrace the part of yourself that creates problems.
Breathe out and relax because now you know how to solve every single one and now you know how to stop creating more problems.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware.

This is all you have to do as soon as the thoughts come. As soon as you start getting that prickly feeling of “Oh, this isn’t going well,” or “Something’s going wrong,” or “I’m afraid”—am I aware? Yes, I am. Then I have no problems. I am practicing the presence of god. And god is perfect. God does no wrong. And as long as I’m here chilling, practicing the presence of god, I have no problems.

Breathe in and ask, am I aware?
Breathe out and relax into the knowing. Yes, I am. I am aware that I am aware. I am practicing the presence of god. And so everything is perfect and in its place.

Don’t Think, Don’t Believe (transcript)
Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and open up to receiving.
Breathe out and surrender your preferences. Surrender your thoughts.

Don’t think, don’t believe.

Breathe in and notice your thoughts.
Breathe out and let those thoughts go.

Today, the motto is, “Don’t think, don’t believe.” Only your thoughts can make you feel bad. No thought is true. Allow yourself to surrender your thoughts, surrender your preferences, and just exist as you are, here, now.

Breathe in and ask, “Am I aware?”
Breathe out and notice, yes I am.

I am aware that I am aware. Rest in this feeling, in this knowing that you are. Rest in the sense “I am.”

Breathe in and relax.
Breathe out and smile because life really isn’t serious.

It’s safe to let go of your worries about other people. It’s safe to let go of your worries about control, about what’s going to happen. It’s time to trust the process of life. If there is one word for you today, it’s trust.

Breathe in and trust.
Breathe out and don’t think, don’t believe.

And if you can’t stop thinking, if you can’t get away from your limiting beliefs, find a little door to start feeling better.

Breathe in and look for a little door.
Breathe out and find that little door to feeling better.

A little door is just a thought that makes you feel a tiny bit better, usually in the form of appreciation. Like, I love feeling better. I love when things start working out. I love when my problems resolve themselves. I love when I trust the process of life and it does work out. I love when I stand up to my thoughts. I love when I remember who I am. I love when I remember I live the magick life.

Breathe in and step into your power.
Breathe out and remember who you are. God. Period.

Breathe in and keep lightening up because it’s not serious.
Breathe out and be so innocent today.

When you don’t think and don’t believe, you’re god. Innocent. Perfect. Whole.

Breathe in and keep asking, “Am I aware?”
Breathe out and keep noticing, “Yes, I am aware.”

This is practicing the presence of god. Do that today in any way you can. It’s resting in your sense “I am.” It’s asking, “Am I aware?” or “Who am I?” Practice the presence of god. Don’t think. Don’t believe. And if you do, find a little door to leave.

Breathe in and keep asking, “Am I aware?”
Breathe out and notice, “Yes, I am. I am practicing the presence of god. I am practicing the presence of god right now.”

Breathe in and have the best day of your life.
Breathe out and become it to see it.

You have shifted your vibration, you have remembered who you are, you have surrendered your thoughts and worries and limiting beliefs and now you are resting as you are in the presence of god and everything is perfect and in its place. Trust.

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes, I am aware and I am now in the flow.

End Your Suffering (transcript)
Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and say yes to what is.
Breathe out and say thank you for what is.

Drag your attention back into this moment right now. Wake up, wake up right now.

Breathe in and wake up in the dream right now.
Breathe out and snap awake now.

Wake up! Wake up, wake up, you’re here. Wake up, right now. This is it, this is the main event. This is why we’re here, right now, right here.

Breathe in and wake up.
Breathe out and become aware right now.

Become aware that you are aware. Merge with God right now.

Breathe in and stop suffering.
Breathe out and get out of those outlandish theories in your head.

Just be aware of being aware. And then you’ll be one with God and everything else. And you won’t have to stress or struggle or strive or suffer.

Breathe in and ask, am I aware?
Breathe out and really, really look.

Am I aware?

Breathe in and notice, yes I am aware.
Breathe out and smile because it’s so simple.

That’s all you have to do. Just be aware that you’re aware. Rest your attention on your awareness, on the source of your attention. What you seek is where you’re seeking from. Where you’re seeking from is awareness. You’re seeking awareness. You’re seeking awareness because when you are aware, you have no problems. When you are aware, you are at peace because your mind isn’t agitated. When you are aware, you are abundant and rich, happy because you aren’t noticing lack. And when you are aware, most importantly, you feel love. You are love because you aren’t separate from anyone or anything. You’re identified as awareness, which is what everything and everyone is.

Breathe in and ask, am I aware?
Breathe out and stand up to your thoughts today.

Stand up to your thoughts. Part the veil, look through the clouds right now. Am I aware? Yes, I am aware. Keep asking yourself until you feel that relief, that freedom, that relaxation, that, “Oh yeah, everything is okay. I am in the right place at the right time. Life is fun. I do feel good and optimistic. Life’s working out for me.”

Breathing in, am I aware?
Breathing out, yes I am.

This is your superpower. Use it. End your own suffering today. Do it right. Really look when you ask the question, “Am I aware? Am I aware? Do I know I exist? Do I know what’s going on?”

Breathe in and be the background of pure awareness.
Breathe out and rest here.

Rest as awareness.

That’s all you have to do to be free from your suffering. Do it now. Do it right and be free.

YOU Don’t Have To Affect You (transcript)

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and lighten up, it’s not serious.
Breathe out and remember to be the background.

Be the background in which all things arise, instead of getting caught up in the arisings themselves.

Breathe in and be the background of all experience.
Breathe out and just let whatever is arising, arise.

It’s the same as saying yes to what it is. Yes, I just said yes to what it is. Still makes sense. Yes, my back hurts. Yes, I’m stressing about this call. Yes, I think someone should do something different. Yes, I’m tired of feeling obligated. Yes, I’m tired. Yes, I was in such a good mood earlier. Now I’m not. Yes, I’m resisting. Yes, I’m seeking. Yes, I’m wanting things to change. And that is how I know I am mind-identified.

Breathe in and be the background in which all things arise.
Breathe out and remind yourself nothing needs to change for you to remember who you are.

Nothing needs to change for you to be enlightened, for you to identify as pure awareness, for you to feel love, happiness and joy. Nothing needs to change.

Breathe in and keep saying yes to what is until you believe it.
Breathe out and surrender.

You don’t really give a fuck anyway. All those things your mind tells you to stress out about, you don’t even really care. It’s just the thoughts making you suffer. But today, stand up to your thoughts. Right now, stand up to your thoughts. Be the background in which everything arises. And then, even the things you do are just arisings and they don’t have to affect you. The way you feel, the things you say, your mood, your thoughts, they’re all just arising in the emptiness of pure awareness, which is what you really are. You don’t even have to affect you.

Breathe in and be unaffected.
Breathe out and be unaffected even by your own bullshit.

Only your thoughts make you feel bad. Be the background in which it all arises and then you don’t have to resist anything. You can just allow everything and then you’ll be unconditional love and you’ll feel so much better.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and do it now. Be the background of all experience.

Be the pure awareness in which everything is seen. And then your cravings, your bad habits, your snarky comments, your resistance, your bad attitude, whatever it is going on with you–it doesn’t have to affect you either and you can rest, stay as you are, pure awareness. You don’t have to affect you.

Breathe in and be unaffected by your own thoughts.
Breathe out and be free.

Be free to be unconditional love today. Be the background in which it all arises. It will come and it will go. The bad attitude, the bad mood, the thoughts, the bad choices, the bad habits, all of these things your mind labels as bad that you do, they’ll come but then they’ll go too. And when you are just allowing them by being the background, you don’t pin them in place, resisting them. They’re free to just move on and then you can have a good day.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and relax.

Relax into the unconditional love that you know you are. Be the background of all experience and then you’ll see life already is the way you want it to be.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and say, thank you, thank you, thank you! I am now aware and I am now in the flow.

Be A Magnet For Love (transcript)

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Relax your body.

Breathe in and be the background of experience.
Breathe out and know nothing has to change.

Nothing has to change for you to simply identify as pure awareness. Nothing has to change for you to see you’re already enlightened.

Breathe in and remember you’re already doing it.
Breathe out and be the background of experience.

Nothing has to change. Your thoughts make you suffer because the job of the mind is to look for things to change and how to do it.

Breathe in and notice the tendency.
Breathe out and see the truth for yourself.

All your thoughts do is look for things that need to be changed. In other words, all your thoughts do is look for problems.

Breathe in and know. You can’t find the answer in the mind.
Breathe out and relax.

You’re already doing it. Just let go of the thoughts. Just be the background of experience. It’s easy. You’re already doing it.

Breathe in and feel it. Nothing needs to change.
Breathe out and really sit with that idea.

Nothing needs to change. This moment is whole and perfect and complete. Your mind wants you to go do things and change things and fix problems and find problems. But you know who you really are, pure awareness. And that pure awareness is already perfect. Nothing has to change for you to rest in your natural happiness, love, peace and joy.

Breathe in and be the background of experience.
Breathe out and see the truth for yourself.

Nothing needs to change. Manifesting is just a mind game. And yes, you can play tricks and get what you want. Practice the feeling of having it. But all the things you want, you want them just so you feel better, just so you feel love. And you’re already doing that. You already have it. You can skip the middleman of manifestation right now and go straight to the source, go straight to what you want.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and see nothing has to change.

If you think something needs to change, you’re mind identified, you’re identified with your thoughts, you’re believing your thoughts. But your thoughts are false, they are lies, they separate, they’re not true.

Breathe in and notice the truth.
Breathe out and relax.

Knowing that nothing needs to change doesn’t mean things won’t change. That’s the nature of our reality, there are comings and goings, arisings and disappearances. It’s going to happen anyway. Your mind, your thoughts don’t need to try to control the comings and goings. You can rest as you are. Pure awareness. Let the things come and go and stay as you are, in love. A magnet for love.

Breathe in and be a magnet for love.
Breathe out and trust the truth.

Nothing needs to change. And when you know that to be your truth, you’ll know that you’re in the right place. You’ll know that you’ve made it. You’re aware, you’re enlightened. It’s right now, you’re already doing it. Nothing needs to change. You’re already here.

Breathe in and feel the love that’s already here.
Breathe out and trust.

Nothing needs to change for you to feel love. Nothing needs to change for you to enjoy being, for you to be happy to be alive. Nothing needs to change.

Breathe in and relax.
Breathe out and surrender.

If you can find this contentment right here, right now, the manifestations you want will come and you won’t care because you’re already here. You already have everything you want and everything you need. Love, yeah, love.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and feel how that thought helps you rejoin with the wholeness of what is.

And then you don’t need that thought anymore. You can relax and know the truth in your heart. Nothing needs to change.

Breathe in and ask, “Am I aware?”
Breathe out and notice, “Yes, I am aware.”

And when I am aware I have no problems. When I am identified as pure awareness, I have no problems. When I am the background of all experience, I have no problems. Because my mind is at peace, I notice no lack, and I am not separate from those I love.

Breathe in and be aware that you’re aware.
Breathe out and be the background.

Nothing needs to change. You’re already in the flow.

The Only Security Is Presence (transcript)

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.
Breathe out and release your resistance.

Welcome back to the present moment, where all of your power lies.

Breathe in and open up to receiving.
Breathe out and say thank you, thank you, thank you.

You must become it to see it. Remember that you are the source of your experience. Choose right now to feel the way you want to feel to see what you want to see.

Breathe in and say yes to what is.
Breathe out and smile because life is not serious.

Allow yourself to relax into this moment. Let your thoughts go. It’s only your thoughts that make you feel bad. It’s only your thoughts that make you suffer. Today be the background of your experience. Surrender your suffering and let the miracles flow.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and keep surrendering.

You’re in the right place at the right time. Let the flow through you. Say yes to what is. Let it unfold.

Breathe in and be light.
Breathe out and smile.

It’s not serious. In addition to it not being serious, it’s not your fault. There is no doer. You no longer have to feel guilty about your decisions because it’s all unfolding in a preordained manner. It can’t happen any other way. You don’t really have free will. It’s not really up to you. It’s life doing everything. You, the thinker, the separate person, the sufferer, is not in control. Thinking about things does not control them. It’s safe to sit back and let it unfold instead of buying into the illusion that you have some kind of control.

Breathe in and give up the illusion of control today.
Breathe out and just be the watcher.

Your body does what it does without the input of your thinking. Your thoughts happen so shortly after the action and there’s an illusion that makes you feel like you’re the one in control making decisions, but it’s really just your mind filling in the blanks, trying to explain things to you so you’re not afraid. So that you feel like you’re less vulnerable. But the only security is presence. The only safety is simply identifying as pure awareness.

Breathe in and let it unfold.
Breathe out and just watch.

Watch your body do what it does. Watch the impulses come. It’s not really your thinking that’s controlling things. It’s just happening. Everything ever created led up to right now and it can happen no other way.

Breathe in and let go of the responsibility.
Breathe out and let go of the illusion of control.

It’s safe to relax. What’s going to happen is going to happen. You don’t have to feel guilty. You don’t have to feel so responsible. Nothing has to change.

Breathe in and have this attitude today. Nothing has to change.
Breathe out and really feel what it feels like to believe that.

Nothing has to change. Nothing has to change to feel love, to feel abundant, to feel safe, to feel happy, to feel peace. Nothing has to change. All that’s required is shifting your perception, your perspective, your attention from the foreground to background, and then you will see life already is the way you want it to be.

Breathe in and see how nothing has to change.

Get your vibration in the place of receiving right now. Thank you, thank you.

Breathe in and be light today.
Breathe out and be innocent today.

Remember that you are the source of your experience. You must become it to see it. So right now, become it. Become what you want to see.

Feel how powerful the words thank you are. Feel your mood improving right now.

Now that you’ve tuned your vibration to gratitude and you’re feeling better already, it’s time to relax into the background of all experience so that you can rest as unconditional love and let the miracles arise.

Be the background. Be the background. You know how to do this. It’s the same thing as asking, “Am I aware? Who am I?” It’s the same thing as noticing the place within you that’s not struggling. Being the background means that you stop identifying with your thoughts and emotions and body and you zoom out to the big picture. Pure awareness. You simply identify as pure awareness.

Breathe in and simply identify as pure awareness.
Breathe out and be the background of all experience.

Relax into it right now. Notice the place within you that’s not struggling. It’s most of you. Pure awareness can never be harmed. It can’t be touched. It can’t be changed. And that’s who you really are. Safe, infinite, love.

Breathe in and be the infinite love today.
Breathe out and remember that’s why you want the things you want.

You want things so that you feel better. You want to feel that feeling of love, of being in love with life, of wanting to get out of bed in the morning. But if you want things in reality to get you out of bed in the morning, then choose it now. Choose it first. Become it and then you will see it.

This is your power, to feel grateful for no reason. Then you start seeing evidence. You choose it, then you see it. You become it, then you see it.

Let yourself be the background of experience today. Rest in this gratitude, watch everything arise in love, the unconditional love of pure awareness. And when you relax into this background of experience and you feel gratitude and relaxation, you will look around and see life already is the way you want it to be. The miracles are already flowing. The perfect timing is already here. Everything is perfect and in its place. You are perfect and exactly where you’re supposed to be. You’re doing everything right and now you know it because you feel that love in your heart and you can go out into the world and be the source of love. You’re so magnetic, you’re so attractive, and today is the best day of your life.

Breathe in and raise your vibration.

This is the most important thing you can do. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Let it all slow down.

Breathe in and relax.
Breathe out and let those thoughts go.

Keep letting go. You’re in the right place at the right time. You’re doing everything right. Trust that it’s all happening in your favor in perfect timing.

Breathe in and be aware that you’re aware.
Breathe out and be the background of all experience.

Be the awareness in which all things arise. Say to yourself over and over, “Be the background.”

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and be the background of all experience, pure awareness.

Be the thing that is aware of everything happening. Instead of focusing on the foreground, the form, focus on the background, the space in which it all arises—that’s who you really are.

Breathe in and let the background give you space from your thoughts.
Breathe out and do it now, right now, be the background now.

Breathe in and remember you know how to do this!
Breathe out and smile because it’s the easiest thing.

You’re already doing it, being the background. Withdraw your attention from the foreground. It’s like an optical illusion. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. If you can just see the illusion that reality is, if you can see the pure awareness that you really are, you won’t have to struggle anymore. You won’t have mental suffering anymore. Once you see it, you can’t unknow it.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and listen.

Listen to the thoughts arising in the background that say, “I’ll do that right after I figure out this thing. I’ll be the background as soon as I think about this thing some more, as soon as I solve this major problem, as soon as I worry some more about my family or my health or my finances.”

Breathe in and be the background now.
Breathe out and be the background now.

You don’t have to think about those thoughts. You don’t have to figure it out or solve any problem. If you choose to be the background first, the problems solve themselves. Otherwise, your awareness of problems just perpetuates them. Be the background now.

Breathe in and be the background of all experience.
Breathe out and simply identify as pure awareness.

That is the background of all experience. That is the thing in which it’s all arising and then going away. All of these forms are going to go away. So if you’re attached to them, you’re going to suffer. Instead, attach yourself to the background and let everything else go.

Breathe in and be the background of all experience.
Breathe out and feel so relieved.

That’s all you have to do to solve your problems. Your mind tells you that’s wrong, but your mind is always wrong.

Breathe in and be the background.
Breathe out and be the background.

You’re already doing it. There is no effort involved. It’s just shifting your attention from the foreground to background, from forms to space.

Breathe in and ask, am I aware that I am the background of all experience?
Breathe out and notice, yes, I am, I am pure awareness.

And when I rest as pure awareness, I have no problems. Life takes care of life. The problems solve themselves.

Breathe in and be the background now.
Breathe out and get ready for the miracles.

Now they’re free to come. Now that you’re not blocking them by focusing on the foreground. You’re now aware. You are now in the flow.
